Hung out today. Had Nanshian xiao long bao and grilled lamb in Flushing at noon.
Transferred subway on Rockefeller Center Station, so stopped by to take some pics. The 5th ave was ...just expensive. See the tiny Takashimaya New York(A Japanese department store), not exceeding 200 m^2 per floor, I guess.

Bagworm

See the worm I picked one day on my way, when I was passing by the young library. I say 'pick' because it moves really slow, it's a bagworm moth/Psychidae/吊死鬼/蓑蛾, which often seen hanging from a Chinese parasol/梧桐树 in late spring. But this one, it's huge isn't it. I found it attaching to the fences around the construction area. It's much bigger than its alikes in China. All the things grew in the U.S are bigger! Like, the human beings, em...
I did have a lot of passion on insects during my childhood, so I loved collecting this bagworms every day on my way back home, after finished school. I especially like them because they have clothes, that made me feel safe when holding them. Poor wormie! Hahahahaha.
